We recommend using new emblems when installing any of the carbon overlays. Additionally whenever you replace an emblem we recommend using new emblem grommets, as the old ones will be damaged when you remove the existing emblem.

Using a credit card and a small flat blade screwdriver, lift the old emblem off. Use the credit card under the screwdriver to prevent any damage to your paint.

Using a needle nose pliers, remove the old emblem grommets

|
Install new emblem grommets by pushing them back into the grommet holes.
|
|
Install new emblem by pushing the pegs on the back of the emblem into the new grommets.
|
|
|
Wipe off emblem with a towel to obtain a clean surface.
|
|
Spray the emblem liberally with soapy water. This will allow you to move the overlay around to get the overlay positioned correctly.

|
|
Apply the carbon emblem overlays to the wet emblem and position correctly.
|
|
Allow the soapy water to completely dry before touching the overlays so that they have time to adhere to the emblem.
