Most people realize that changing your engine's air filter once a year will allow your engine to breathe better! Most people don't realize that changing or up grading your cabin's air filter will allow YOU to breathe better! When is the last time you changed your Cabin Filter?

The filter is located behind the center console assembly and is accessed by removing the glove box.
Open glove box and remove the 6 screws - the center two are covered by a plastic shield. To remove these you first must use a flathead screwdriver and pop the covers off to access the screws.

Remove glove box

Remove 3 screws from the factory harness bracket and remove bracket and move factory harness aside
|
|
Disconnect air duct by removing the two clips holding it in place
Turn cabin air filter housing knob counterclockwise a quarter of a turn and removing housing cover

Replace factory cabin air filter housing cover
Turn housing knob clockwise to secure cover
Reinstall factory air duct
Reinstall factory harness bracket
Reinstall glovebox housing
Enjoy a more powerful A/C and breathe better
