Project E46 330i Automatic

New Project Car for 2005!

For the first project car of 2005, I selected this 2001 330i e46 4-door with automatic transmission. After reviewing BMW's sales history, the E46 4-doors are definitely the most popular cars for the BMW enthusiast market. My reason for choosing an automatic was to simply give the automatic owner a first hand testimonial, rather than just assuming that the results would be similar to those of a manual transmission vehicle. My goal with this vehicle is not to build a high horsepower magazine dream car, but to demonstrate the installation technique and performance results of some of our most popular add-on modifications. However since BMWs and MINI Coopers are my passion, I have been known to let some of my projects to get a little out of hand. The goal will be to have a nice mix of modifications including, engine performance, suspension, and appearance upgrades. We will also use this vehicle for "do it yourself" repairs, as well as car care product reviews. Listed below is a preliminary project list.
