The BMP design Quick Shift Version 2 has more high quality features than our early version 1. The level shaft is heavy-duty machined steel, with an adjustable silicone bronze pivot ball. The lower couple has been upgraded from the conventional bronze-bushing insert to a high-grade needle bearing to eliminate any future wear. The upper lever is Billet aluminum with a vulcanized rubber damper. Each unit will accept either the late style push-on factory shift knob, as well as the early screw-on version. Adjustment range is up to 25% depending on your model BMW. (Some models will not allow maximum adjustment due to drive shaft interference)
