When replacing a water pump, power steering pump or serpentine belt we recommend replacing the plastic pulleys for that component. The old pulleys may have stress fractures that are not easily detectable. Never pry against the pulleys while installing belts or tensioners. Use proper torque specs to tighten mounting bolts.
