Like all car companies, BMW does not manufacture their own exhaust components. They will hire one of several European exhaust manufacturers as a subcontractor. These same subcontractors will typically offer an aftermarket O.E. exhaust program almost identical to the factory system. Since BMP is able to purchase direct, the additional cost savings can be passed on to you, the consumer. Many of these components are identical to what you have on your vehicle now. A few are reconfigured slightly to save cost; others have been made into a 2 piece system to save on shipping expenses. All will fit directly to your vehicle without modification using the original hanger points. Although they may slightly differ in appearance, they will function the same. We offer a full one year warranty on all exhaust components, excluding seals, gaskets and hangers.

When selecting any exhaust components, we recommend purchasing all seals, gaskets, hangers, and hardware associated to that project. Repeated heat cycles in a corrosive environment will rarely allow these items to be reused. Use plenty of WD-40 to help loosen nuts and bolts.
