The BMP design, high-efficiency differential cover will reduce differential oil temperature by as much as 20%. The custom aluminum cover with larger heat dissipating cooling fins, will reduce the risk of bearing failure due to lubricant break down. The cooling fins extend below the differential to take full advantage of the clear air passing under the vehicle. Limited slip units will have longer life expectancy due to the reduced oil temperature. The constructions is low pressure cast aluminum. The kit includes new rubber mounts, gasket, drain seal, and bolts, if required. The E36 cover increases differential oil capacity by 1.5 quarts.
