During hard acceleration the stock transmission cross brace and rubber mounts are not rigid enough to keep the transmission in its proper location. The movement will pull the linkage at the transmission and in some situations damage transmission gears by partially disengaging the transmission. If this occurs during hard acceleration the internal gear damage can be extensive. Construction is of mild steel with 60 durometer urethane bushings.
