On the early model BMWs, the factory shift linkage assembly uses a non-replaceable plastic bushing.When the bushings wear out, BMW requires the replacement of the entire linkage component. The BMP design silicone bronze bushing will insert directly into the factory linkage component, and outlast the factory plastic inserts. Kit Includes: 2 Bushings for bottom of shift lever and 2 bushings for transmission coupler. For standard transmission cars ONLY. These items will only fit vehicles with 4 speed transmissions
