Building an engine for track use calls for light weight components. This includes the clutch and flywheel. The lighter rotating mass gives faster throttle response and higher RPM limits. Although the stock flywheel is beneficial to smooth idle, it does rob a slight portion of the available horsepower. All flywheels are C.N.C. machined from aircraft aluminum with replaceable steel friction surface. All flywheels are configured for standard clutches. Each kit includes: ring gear, clutch bolts, galling plate, and flywheel bolts. Some models require appropriate Hot-Chip for increased idle speed.
